Lake Anna Beach House ("we," "us") rents a private vacation home at Lake Anna, Virginia. This policy explains what we collect when you use this website, contact us, or book a stay, and how we use it.
What we collect
- Inquiry details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, travel dates, number of guests, and your message, through our contact and availability forms.
- Chat messages: if you use the chat assistant on our site, the messages you type and its answers.
- Booking messages: messages you send us through Vrbo, Airbnb, or LakeAnnaRentalProperties.com, which reach us through our property-management software.
- Technical and safety information: basic information your browser or email sends (such as device type, email provider, and approximate city or region) and a bot check from Cloudflare Turnstile. We use this only to block spam, fraud, and rental scams.
- Phone line type: we may check whether a phone number is mobile, landline, or internet-based, to help screen for fraud.
How we use it
- To answer your questions, check availability, and arrange your stay.
- To send messages about your inquiry or booking, including text messages if you opt in (see SMS Terms).
- To protect our guests, our home, and our neighbors from spam, scams, and fraud.
- To keep records of our conversations so we can follow up.
How we share it
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we never share your phone number or text-messaging consent with anyone for their marketing. We share information only with service providers that help us run the website and handle messages, such as website hosting and security (Cloudflare), our AI chat provider, our property-management software, our email provider, and our text-messaging provider (Twilio). They may use it only to provide those services to us. We may also share information if required by law or to protect against fraud or harm.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed for the site, chat, and bot check to work. We do not use advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and booking records as long as needed to handle your stay, keep business and tax records, and screen for fraud, and then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete your information by sending a request through our Contact page. To stop text messages, reply STOP at any time.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above.
